I reckon there was nothing wrong with Lance's wrist, after his temper trantrum Daddy Stroll told him he couldn't race. This wrist story is just to save face.

I totally forgot that he wasn't in the race in Spain. I barely hear him mentioned in any race.

Possibly because he's not generally liked, and because he rarely is competitive in a given race?

Or, more realistically, because he is driving in modfield positions that rarely get on-air coverage during races.
