Given decreasing regulations, enforcement, and oversight, these events will only increase in both number and severity... Not to mention deaths. 🤷♂️ 🤡 🙄 🖕 💩
Cooking kills salmonella. If you cook the eggs properly (firm white and yolk) and wash your hands and cooking surfaces properly, you aren't going to get sick. Salmonella on/in eggs isn't too big of a deal unless you are eating them raw or under-cooked or not washing up well enough.
It’s still a big deal, the eggs shouldn’t have been contaminated and released for consumption in the first place.
