Trump activates National Guard to crush anti-ICE protest in LA

Tense confrontations between police and demonstrators in L.A. continued for a second day on Saturday, in response to operations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents

Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said he plans to send the National Guard to Los Angeles to combat protests against ICE that began this weekend following immigration raids in the city.

“We are making Los Angeles safer. Mayor Bass should be thanking us. She says they are going to mobilize—guess what? We are already mobilizing. We are going to bring the National Guard in tonight,” Homan told Fox News.

His comments come after Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller railed against the protests, calling them an “insurrection” against the United States.

My feeling is that if the people of CA don’t fight back with equal, brutal force, America is officially done and this will happen everywhere.
I’m not sure what else one can do.
- Fighting back is the only thing that works. Look at 2020. Fighting back effectively kept the number of Trump W's in that time in the single digits.

  As I understand it, that TS12 uses three magazines simultaneously. That is asking for a lot of jamming, simply because there are more moving parts.
  I think the VR80 would be better, it can accommodate 9-rounder magazines, is a semi, ambidextrous, and Cali compliant. The VR80 has a split or lever action, so you can remove magazines fairly quickly while on the range. If law goes out the window, you should be able to uninstall a small pin by the magazine release. This voids the compliance, but in war...well, who on your side is going to care?
  Also, it is AR-15 patterned, so you can modify it a fair bit. About the only downsides is that it takes about 250 rounds to loosen up, and an annoying compliant stock. Initially, it jams a fair bit until you have broken it in.

Can people tell me why we keep using the stupid fucking "border czar" term? I want to know who the fuck these people are and what their actual titles are. It makes reading headlines such a fucking chore. I end up having to google the context of a headline like every 4th article.

- Because the constitution says we can't call the president king, but if we name everyone in other positions "border king" "energy king" etc. in Russian, we can normalize the king concept. Maybe a shitty nod to Russia as well?
