I absolutely missed the bit about fifteen years ago, where they unconvicted the guy they'd previously convicted.
- Likewise! I thought it was someone... Levi Bellfield has appeared in my brain, not going to check.
  
  Not him, but I'm surprised he hasn't claimed it. The guy's name who was convicted was Barry George.
My theory is that it was some Balkan security service or a gang acting on their behalf.
The sad fact is that it was likely just some random with a grudge, against her specifically or just against womankind.
Probably Evan Dando to eliminate the dilution of his popstar name.
