I suspect we're going to see the sort of brain drain and emigration among those with means that characterized 1930s Germany as people realized what the fuck was going on.

Yeah but the UK? That’s not a step up. You don’t even get EU access anymore.
Good? No. Better than the USA? Definitely.
Not for long. It is going into fascism just as much as the US is, not that it ever really was that far behind.
I wouldn't say "definitely" on anything other than healthcare.
