More Dems need to be doing what Hollen is doing. They need to hold these people's feet to the fire.

Of course they fucking did. Probably assumed it was the least worst option, but it wasn't like there was any reason to go along with any nomination because their votes weren't needed and it isn't like Republicans reciprocate.

  you dont understand if they hadn't voted for him then someone worse could have been installed - - almost every response when pointing out how he was unanimously approved
  
  Why would dems vote to confirm anyone to fill that position with this administration? They refuse to embrace obstructionism despite it being a major reason we got here in the first place.

You literally didn't have to do that. You knew exactly who he is and exactly what he was going to do. You could have voted against him.
But I guess your regret is some small comfort.
