The issue is that you and I grew up thinking AI stood for "artificial intelligence", but the reality is we came up with "automated intelligence" instead.
- Still useful, but apparently it's not stopping everyone from claiming it's useless because it hasn't done the dishes for them already.
  
  I find it super useful. But then again, I'm a curious person.

  It's artificial? Yes
  It's intelligent? Kind of, like it's super smart no. But I mean I wouldn't call it dumb either, there are dumber people out there. Like I feel it has the right amount of if else conditions to be smart/intelligent enough.
- Trying to control language is a stupid pointless task. Words mean what we use them as, and that might not be what they originally meant. IMO machine learning = artificial intelligence.

They are kind of funny, but more because of how nonsensical and disturbing they are than any actual comedy. Just looking at the image makes my brain feel like it is skipping.

Image AIs are terrible for text, it's like they're dreaming about letter shaped objects. Once out of hundreds of times I was able to get it to do a picture of a shop where the sign actually said Grocery.

LLMs don't generate pictures like in the meme.
