I wonder how much she was paid to push the merger or does she hold stock that would go up in value if the merger happened?
- "This decision will inflict serious harm on consumers and merchants, especially low-income consumers and small businesses," wrote Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Maxine Waters.
  Literally the quote at the top of the article. Way to fail at even opening it and glancing at it.
- Title is a bit off, but she's opposing the merger.
- Warren is one of my senators, and she's pretty pro-consumer. I'd argue it's her primary platform. She proposed and champions the CFPB and consistently calls for oversight and regulations on companies. I doubt it's stock related or anything nefarious.

  It is bad writing. That paragraph (and the title) makes it sound like it was considered in the past and they are asking that it be considered again.
