Screwworms are coming—and they’re just as horrifying as they sound

- I have a rather misanthropic mindset, but I consider area control of screwworms to be something good that our species has done. These parasitoids cause horrific injuries.
I was about to say I was grateful that human infection by screwworms is low, but then I realized that it will be worse if we lose tons of livestock to them.
We are so fucked...
