'I'm just so happy': Americans pour into Nanaimo after viral TikTok invite

Very cool. Friends from both countries hanging out and being nice to each other. What a radical idea.

The funniest part to me about all of this is that Nanaimo's not even the nicest city on the island. I mean, most of the island is gorgeous because BC, but there are so many other places they could've visited.

Tod Maffin is an awesome journalist though and this legit seems like a very wholesome thing to have happened (and I'm sure great for local businesses).
