Australian state suspends human rights law to lock up more children

This is one state, Queensland, which is Australia's Florida if you will.

There is a movement to introduce a national human rights act, instead of leaving it up to each state to implement. Until now that hasn't been a huge concern, but its picking up more steam this year.
