"First and foremost, I know -- as a former federal prosecutor and as a defense lawyer for decades – that a person who is a judge, who has a residence who has no problem being found, should not be arrested, if you will, like some common criminal,” Gimbel said. “And I'm shocked and surprised that the US Attorney's office or the FBI would not have invited her to show up and accept process if they're going to charge her with a crime."
The cruelty is the point

  That picture will always look like stable diffusion generated to me.
  
  This should've been his "AL Capone" moment.
- They want to make an example of her to show how far they will go to get others to fall in line.
- When people are loosing their basic civil rights, I'm not going to guzzle tears because some judicial pig didn't get the special treatment she was owed according to her station.
  
  You may misunderstand her role in the scheme of things. Please consider re-reading the basic timeline of this story.

If the most you can muster to defend a judge who didn't want to act as a deputized federal agent for ICE is, "The way the FBI went about this was unprofessional." Then perhaps you shouldn't be interviewed on matters of fascism.
On one hand she doesn't deserve this. On the other hand it's kind of nice to see a judge get to experience the absolute bullshit of the legal system and police overreach firsthand.
