It's real annoying if you want to use art as a tax dodge/money laundering medium and the stupid artist keeps making more pieces to alter the value

Art investors prefer art by dead artists, they can't do anything unexpected once they're dead.
They also can't produce anything new, which means the now limited resource can only appreciate in value.
