This is the shit that these smooth brains don’t get about all these scientists studying esoteric stuff. They just can’t handle the simplest of abstractions away from “tax dollars spent staring at fish.”
Yup, so good fucking luck to the Midwest and the people who live in tornado alley when you're not going to get advanced warning and you'll get no federal help for afterwards.
Luckily, I only rely on NOAA data out of curiosity, but I feel a bit sorry for those facing a hurricane surprize season.

Best article title I've seen in a while. Too bad mainstream doesn't make things so simple and direct.
And they'll keep at it until the weather people stop making up that it's getting hotter. If they would just say "everything is ok, the weather is fixed now, we can go back to making money without feeling guilty" then they would stop getting fired. Easy problem to solve.
