Petition to rename "Fog" into "Fogus"
If you're on the ground at ~600m elevation how do you tell the difference between fog, mist and nimbostratus clouds? Or other clouds for that matter?
- If you're that high up, does it really matter? It's all water vapor that's making you wet

So does the "alto" and "cirrus" refer to the altitude?
- Alto yes, cirrus no. Cirrus is the shape
  
  Ah OK. I saw cirrostratus and cirrocumulus and thought it was the same pattern as the altos
