I may be slightly too old for any of the references. Is she some sort of cultural icon?
- Not famous famous, but "hey, I know that face!" famous.
  People who were in their teens around the early to mid 2000s would probably recognize her if they were into stuff like Buffy and Gossip Girl.
  And especially EuroTrip. Anyone who watched that movie and enjoyed it probably watched it a dozen times, and her role was pretty memorable.
  
  OK, so I'm just old. I remember hearing of that movie and having no interest. Last teen movie I watched was the first American Pie.
  
  My family recognizes her because of Harriet the Spy
- She was a popular teen actor about 20 years ago.
