Harrison's been on a IDGAF kick for years now, he's over it, all his tentpole characters are being killed off unceremoniously, and he's giddy about it. When it gets right down to it Harrison Ford dug the money, adulation, and fame for about six months, and after that, he's wanted to have fun making movies and try as hard as he can no to shoulder the enormous burden of fandoms. For decades he was delicate about his hatred of nerds and geeks trying to pry every last morsel of energy he had, but lately in the last 5 years or so, he's all about the fuck you, fuck this, fuck it. I support this.

  That's the one thing that concerns me about Ford playing the Red Hulk, and really most MCU villains in general, is that we just get them for one film.
  It's probably easier to get folks in for one film, but I wish so many of them lived on longer. Loki was our original "big bad" and he got to have an amazing story after his defeat. Thanos got a slow build up with a huge two part payoff. Wanda has been the minor villain, then a hero, then manifested grief, then the villain and I suspect will someday return as a hero again.
  Ultron should be always lurking around. Justin Hammer should always be trying to one up Tony Stark or whomever has the most gadgets. Walton Goggins was clearly working for someone, let's explore it.
  I really hope Red Hulk survives this film, ideally with Harrison Fold, but they can cast whomever it it means the character lives on.
  
  Ford's character (General/President Ross) has been in the MCU since the beginning with the Incredible Hulk. Not sure why they'd keep him around as a "villain" for very long, his story should be basically over now as far as I can tell.
  Also if they bring Wanda back imma be pissed. Why "kill off" Wanda in MoM, just to throw her back into the fray later? Just to play with people's emotions and its soooo obvious. They are desperately trying to remain relevant and it's showing.

Ford wisecracked about the motion capture process required to turn him into the Red Hulk by saying: “What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before.”
Harrison Ford seems so real. Work is work - mans been acting his whole life and always made it clear it was for the paycheck
He wanted to have fun while filming, and Marvel enabled him to do that. Win win.

  Proper sendoff? He gets punched in the face and dragged back to the future to.... Die a grumpy old man?
- That was my thought too, this is the first I've heard of it flopping. It's no Indy 1-3, but it's better than Indy 4.
  I have plenty to complain about the film, but overall I'd say I enjoyed watching it.
I watched Indy 5 and I don’t remember anything about it.
- Indiana Jones goes back in time to ancient Greece. Oh and the woman is the main character for some reason. That's all I got.

5 would've been better if it was more like the final act but throughout the entire movie.
