Fight harder? Maybe actually fight at all. We're facing a count down to fascism and he hasn't even reached strongly worded letter stage.
- The countdown started with Reagan. This is full blown fascism.
- There have actually been a lot of strongly worded letters. If you're not hearing about them, it's because you're listening to press which doesn't tell you about it.
  What they can't do: win any vote in either house of Congress. Not enough Democrats for that.
Corpo friendly "moderates" are not cut out to fight fascism.
Them making the left unattractive to votes is what we keep having to fight fascism in the first place. No one would turn to rightwing fake populism if the leftwing was authentically populist.
Schumer doesn't have the votes to do jack shit.
The GOP has a 53 seat majority, they only need 50 to confirm appointments. They can tell Schumer to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up and there's nothing he or the Democrats can do about it.
- So, he should do it. They should make him shut the fuck up then. Most of the career democrats do the republicans work by making their jobs easier by just rolling over. This is why people aren’t coming out in support of democrats
- What they can do:
  Vote 'no' on everything. Every cloture motion. Every confirmation. They're still not doing that.
  Reject any kind of unanimous consent
  Stop doing military promotions until they go back to building a military which looks like the US as a whole
  Ask for a roll call on every vote, every amendment. It slows things down.
If I could - or if I could persuade my senator to - cast a vote of no confidence for Schumer as party leader, I would. But that’s not a thing in US politics.

My senators are a braindead turncoat and a carpetbagger from NJ. They ain't helping anybody.
Calling them isn't going to give them a spine. The only way to deal with these spineless assholes is to talk to actual people in real life, find a progressive candidate you like, donate and volunteer to them and the progressive party and primary the shit out of them in the next set of elections.
Schumer and the NYTrash, both imperial liberal turds. Worthless article.
