You know what you call an organization that defends Nazis? Nazis.
- I've been asking people this a lot lately just to be sure there's no fascists in my orbit. Thankfully everyone has answered Nazis so far.
- yeah, the us has the equivalent to a cockroach infestation. Ugly critters.
  
  I don't disagree with the metaphor, but I don't like thinking of people as less than people. It makes it easier to dehumanize them and dismiss their very real human emotions and effect on the world.
  We have real, thinking people who are wrapped up the the cult of personality, and they think they are righteous. They think their ignorance is as good as our knowledge. They think their hatred and intolerance is the same as our disgust and rejection. They think their desire for power is the same as our hope for equality. They are wrong, and they believe they are right.
  They are not cockroaches. They are not unthinking vermin to be exterminated. They are a very real enemy that needs to be fought. Politically if possible, violently if necessary.
It's not Musk's arm gesture; it's Musk's Nazi salute, done twice, proudly, in front of a rally. The news media is all, already, too cowed to even call it what it is, and this is week 1 of fascist rule. Any society that does not condemn and ostracize him for his Nazism has already become a Nazi society.
- Those journalists are worried about getting fired themselves by the Nazi-coddling snowflake cancel-culture mob.
Coming after the press for criticism now? Who are the snowflakes here?

Imagine getting fired for criticizing Nazis? Wild.
Someone needs to start keeping a central list of all corporations and organisations that have been rolling over like they've been waiting for this moment all their lives. Just to keep around as reminders, any time they decide to do a little rainbow capitalism or black history month marketing.
If the world, and especially the USA regains its senses, please all I ask is that everyone remembers exactly who these people are when they're begging for your money and support again.
- It's easier to keep a list of the ones who aren't.
  Which is unfortunate in multiple ways, not least of which is that the fascists will certainly be compiling that list themselves.
Wonder how this went down.
This is how any company reacts to any viral reaction to any topic. Companies do not want to be associated with any controversy whatsoever. Easier to just fire the person and move on.
Not saying this is right, but a viral anti or pro Nazi, pro or anti whatever post that your company catches wind of will get you fired.
