Keeping only Australia and USA in mind, it would be worth comparing the absolute wage per capita. It could show that USA as a nation is grotesquely wealthy because of which workers get a smaller relative share of the pie.

It would really be interesting to see what would happen if the majority of central and south America became primarily socialist nations. What the impact would be on US wages. This is all assuming US interference was prevented.

We might see that happen because there is a big socialist wave sweeping south American now. It was much easier for US to destabilize individual countries when they turned left, but now you have a bunch of countries working together and supporting each other. On top of that, BRICS now provides an alternative economic system so it's no longer possible to freeze countries out of the global economy using sanctions. Not sure how that would impact US wages though.
- It will be interesting to see is Australia wages continue to decline and how far the can go when right next to China. It seems that the closer in proximity to a powerful socialist nation, the better you working conditions are as the capitalists have to compete with those conditions. Hell even on the other side of the planet the USSR affected the US worker conditions. They can use the anti-china narratives to prevent similar things from happening for now but when it's on your own doorstep? When they look over and see Mexico having better working conditions and living conditions (IF Mexico went full on socialism and all that)?
- The real wages would probably sink, since the cost of labour would go up in the other countries, so the goods and resources would be more expensive. But thats just a guess, I am not an economist
