It wasn't a government-funded thing, it says at the end that ABC TV did it all by themselves.
So who decided that was true?
Dentists. Because it’s true. It helps produce saliva which helps with plaque. It also exercises your jaw muscles. They emphasize crunchy vegetables and fruits which are plain healthy.
The jaw thing can't be understated - the better trained your jaw muscles are the less breathing problems you will have.
