I’d expect him to put Ukraine on a silver platter and hand it over to Putin, but if he’s able to get Russia to fuck off from Ukraine then yay, i guess.
I suppose it might be that first term he wasnt expected to win, so the only one with any sway was Putin, the Saudis, the MAGA nutjobs and other outside influence.
At this point though corporate US knows how to manipulate him, so I hope a more Dubya / Raegan style presidency is in order. Which are still disasters, but less so Trump 1.0

Between Israel and Ukraine, there are a lot of leftists out there who were just plain wrong in their assumption that Trump's election would make matters worse for both.
We'll see if these changes hold, but from where we're all sitting, there's been more progress on international initiatives in two days in the in the last four years.
I mean, we do have a previous example of a Donald Trump presidency. So it's not that unreasonable to anticipate that he will sow chaos on the international scene, given that that's exactly what happened last time. Unlike pretty much every 'new' president (i.e. not an incumbent returning to office immediately after a 4 year term), he's a known quantity.

Trump will get done what Biden couldn't just like he has with Hamas but it's going to take some time now since Biden decided to escalate the war right before leaving office by giving the go ahead to Ukraine to attack Russia with US weaponry and giving them the weaponry to do it.

The reason he couldn't get it done with Hamas was that Trump had promised Israel he wouldn't pressure a ceasefire if he won. If he hadn't made that promise this could have ended six months ago. The only reason it's happening now is he's saying he will break the promise. I mean, what has he actually offered Israel that was not already offered, to accept what sounds like the exact same deal from months ago?
He made it clear that there would be hell to pay if this wasn't settled before he took office, and obviously, they believed it.
Bidens had over 400 days to get a deal done and couldn't. Trump said that if the hostages weren't released by the time he takes office all hell would break loose in the middle east. It's obvious what happened here, at least to most of the country
