Excise the cancer completely or die. The choices left are binary. There is no middle ground, no half solutions, finish your plate or they will be back. It is terminal. There is no might about it.
It's been terminal since early 20th century. When all major mass media gave attention to and ran with the Red Scare. Literally ending people's livelihoods over the simple suspicion that people may have had sympathies towards Russia.
