  It does feel strange though that Americans' distaste for taxes is greater than their value for human life. But I guess since our country was founded on "no taxation without representation," that maybe we'll find a similar way out.
Dad or 17 year old? My bet is 17 yo and he has the genius idea to shoot himself.

  Not "the best" but also not "full of scams and ads"
  
  Bocky probably has some questionable extensions in their web browser feeding more ads.

- Its the Associated Press. I saw no ads at all, but then I am using an ad blocker.

- It is on the internet. The internet is full of scams and ads. That being said, APNews is a legitimate site.
- this is by far one of the most credible news organizations in the world. and one of the least ad infested old media sites.

- Rawdogging the Internet is bad for your health. Get a blocker. Make a Pihole DNS server. Etc.
  These days, assume every website is loaded with trackers and scam ads, even legit ones, because they are.
- You should get an adblocker.
- How does someone who has made it all the way to Lemmy to post a comment not have an ad blocker these days? If you have the motivation to post, why not use that to look up how to block ads?
