The D.C. Circuit voted to uphold the ban, citing national security threats and the collection of data from TikTok users.
Meanwhile the federal government and America’s telecoms operate a data collection backdoor for China via its own wiretapping infrastructure
The worry with TikTok is around wiretapping, it’s around collecting micro targeting data, the using that data to target people with politically censored content streams and or propaganda.
