There are 3 stages in life. When you are young you go to a lot of birthday parties, and the next stage is when you go to a lot of weddings, and the final stage is when you go to a lot of furnals.

The first birthday you are part of is your own, and the last funeral you are part of is your own as well. Ah, the circle of Life.

I went to far too many funerals as a child/young adult then.
40 years in and still waiting for the first stage...
In your mid 30s, you can definitely do all 3 at once. Literally on the same weekend for me one time.
The birthday party stage happens again after marriage - although they’re not for you 🤣
