Xbox could release a separate app for people to sideload while trying to work things out with getting released on Google play.
And do what Samsung does of releasing their phones with their own store preinstalled.

Also, I guess a judge ruled they can't force them to use Google play billing. I like using Google Play to unsubscribe.
Why not just teach gamers in the mean time to sideload their own store ? F-Droid isnt downloadable through Google Play but still works as an alternative once you've installed it ?
The problem is that most people are lazy. They don’t download an alternate App Store, because of security reasons, and, with all the "improvements to security" it’s getting harder to download one in the first place.
