Capitalism is killing every aspect of our lives. And this post is filled with bootlickers defending a system that has its boot on their neck too.

Better make sure people don't have fun just being amongst themselves, how can we introduce a product that invalidates the traditional social experience?

Pretty sure "Capitalism" as a whole isn't the root cause here.
- Capitalism is the root cause of a whole heap of major problems. Almost all of them in fact. I suppose you could go one further and settle on greed as the cause. But since capitalism is institutionalised greed, it still wouldn't excuse capitalism even if you did.
  
  Lol, right. So let's break down this down since Communism has miserably failed every test and attempt it's attempt at being used as a socioeconomic ideology:
  Communism doesn't stop greed.
  Communism doesn't stop exploitation of human labor.
  Communism sure as hell doesn't stop famine
  So what you and this are article are saying is that all those previous failures of Communism wasn't it's fault, but rather...Capitalism? I'm not making a claim that Capitalism solves those same problems, but it at least doesn't offer a more fluid movement inside an economic system. You would be a Serf under Communism with no ability to pick and choose what you'd like to do in said system. I won't even get into the built-in ruling class bullshit it brings along.
  Is this another one of those "Well if EVERYONE just used Communism, THEN it would totally work just fine!" arguments in its favor, is it?
- Let's consider that there are economic systems between balls to the wall capitalism as we see today, and a tankie unicorn land.
  Capitalism is absolutely destroying everything it touches to make people with capital richer. This is undeniable and has been documented over and over again.
  Let's be dumb here : I'd rather have the proletariat profit from the destruction of the planet instead of a select few people.
  The sole goal of capitalism is to make more capital for the capital holder. Everything that can be monetized will be monetized, and everything that can be monetized will be diluted and dismantled until only a carcass is left to be thrown on the street.
  It's literally an insatiable parasitic machine.
  
  See my other comment, but you're describing a Socialist ideal working as designed, but Capitalism off the rails as it was not designed. It's not even a fair comparison.
  Someone making an argument for a turd sandwich versus a turkey sandwich since it technically is still a sandwich by name is a foolish argument to prove a point because nobody is going to choose a turd sandwich.

  I go to cheap concerts at small venues and don’t support stadium bullshit.
  
  It's really only the big crap that's prohibitively expensive. $15 bar covers are still everywhere and while the middle tier bands have gone up you can get good seated tickets for under $100.
