Every time there's an article of a report confirming "yes, this looks, smells and feels like a genocide", there's always a statement of "nuh uh it's not" included from the government perpetrating it.
Like if someone is accused of murder or manslaughter, does the news get a statement from the accused and publish them saying "uh, no I didn't, he probably just tripped and fell" or something?
Actually, yes. It happens quite often that the papers print that someone was arrested or stands trial but claims to be innocent.

I mean... Yes? That seems like a very basic fact for them to report.
What would you expect them to say? Has there ever been a government in history that committed a genocide and admitted to it while they were doing it (without having lost a war to an invading army)?
It don't expect them to say differently, I expect the press to write the statement at the end very briefly rather than so thoroughly and prominently in the middle.
This is what happens when you act with absolute impunity and ignore international law.
This creates a very serious precedent in history, when other parties can think that they can act the same way. International law exists for a reason!
They should just scribble into the definitions of Genocide in the UN .... 'except for Israel'
What was it Trump said? "Finish the problem" or something like that. I guess they are taking his advice now that they have a green light.
Much like water has characteristics consistent with water.
