- Jump over to PC and choose both 140fps and quality. ;p
  I'm at least happy we are past the era of 'the human eye can only see 30fps'.
  
  Well, 140fps, quality and financial ruin.
Promise of 60 FPS with ray tracing sees a pretty quick stumble.
On the Pro, Quality mode is 2176x1224 at 30fps
And Performance mode is 1536x864 at 60fps

Stephanie Stirling has been beating the drum on fake "quality" modes that give you RT at the expense of everything else. Think it was this one but it might also have been this one.
This seems poor, why get this console it isnt hitting the bar that I thought we were getting with the jump from ps4 pro to ps5 and there are so few games.
I honestly think they rushed the PS5 because of COVID. They should have waited longer and put better hardware inside. The jump from PS4 to the 5 is small.
- Now THAT is a hot take. I stopped buying consoles after the PS360 era, because the PS4 was absolute garbage. I don’t think I’m going back to consoles, but I recognize that the PS5 is a fantastic machine. PS4’s load times were sometimes in the MINUTES, and PS5’s are near instant.
  
  That's the only upgrade tho. Going from PS2 to PS3 was a huge difference and PS3 to PS4 come upgrades to graphics as well as a new UI and plenty of new features like party chat, game recording & streaming built in. To be frank I did switch to PC because the PS4 was ungodly slow and there was massive pop in on games like GTA. But the PS5 isn't a huge leap in technology like other generation upgrades were
- Now imagine the jump from PS5 Pro to PS6.
