To be super clear — I'm 100% not saying it is fraudulent. This could be as simple as “Some work was intended to be done, it wasn't, other work was done instead, and the expense description was not updated”.
This is common in small projects, I would say.
- The answers and reactions of those admins is incredibly fishy tho, and I don't really see a good ending to all that with what's been documented.
Sad to see such a good project die.
- There are a few other good options, I guess the good bits of the code can be pulled over?
  
  On mobile Tusky is basically the gold standard for Mastodon clients. There are some other clients, but I didn't fine one as good as Tusky. I guess I'll switch to the Elk PWA since I already use Elk on desktop - but this depends on an official Reply from Tusky regarding the blog post.
  
  Husky is a fork of Tusky. Probably better than just adding Tusky features to existing clients.
