That's the Republican party in a nutshell today. They can't answer because everything that comes out of their mouth is terrible for most people, and they know it.
They want to punish and control anyone who isn't a cis het white Christian evangelical male.
It's Christofascism. Period. End of sentence.
- If you look at the history of fascism, you'll find the "christo" part to be surplus to requirements.
  Its only when they're non-christian that we need to distinguish them.
  
  I mean, the abrahamic religions seem to all try to create fascist states. Look at Israel as well as a few middle eastern fascist movements.
  Then again, China has also satisfied a lot of the qualifications of fascism in the past century and they are mostly athiest IIRC.
As an Australian - Defunding Planned Parenthood should only happen in conjunction with the introduction of Universal healthcare.
Don't need a third party, non-profit-that-chases-profits clinic if you're got a taxpayer funded public hospital that provides those services.
Also federal money cannot be used to fund anything related to abortion at Planned Parenthood due to federal law already.

The video cuts off at "We don't want government funding for abortion...". I can probably guess what else was said but why cut it off there? It doesn't match up with the point they are trying to make.

  Exactly. Defunding will remove everything else that Planned Parenthood already does which ironically will driving back up the abortion rate.
Always about the talking points, never about the solution. Fuck all the politicians.
- Well yeah, it's an election, do you think they're going to do anything remotely risky this close to the election? Solutions are for Congressional barter, talking points are for pleb voters.
It's because he doesn't want to say the answer:
He wants to get rid of contraception too and force people to have kids.
He doesn't care if that means people die of cancer.
