I'm Jewish and I don't think I'm a bigot and I am not pleased by this only in the sense of, as I already suggested, people deciding I need to shoulder that blame directly as a Jew along with Gaza and the execution of Jesus.
I don't think his ancestry really matters. I think his actions do.
But it's interesting on an academic level.

Also not that it's any of your business, but I can't go out and protest because I'm suffering from a long-term illness which gives me low energy, so I have to keep my activism confined to writing and phone calling.

It's all the other people claiming I'm the one responsible for the genocide.
If you were on the receiving end of "do you renounce Israel's actions" and "you killed Jesus" on a regular basis, you'd understand.
Similarly, ask a Muslim how they feel every time there's a Muslim terrorist that does something atrocious. You'll get a very similar answer: "am I going to have to tell people I had nothing to do with this one too?"
