- The article says Buenos Aires as if it's the Argentine government making political statements. Apparently the "tensions" are coming from a union which is kinda weird. But not surprised by the article seeing OPs posting history

Javier Milei would really be a great cast for an Austin Powers villain. The guy looks more cartoonish every time I see him.

However, his statement provoked a furious response from Argentina's union the General Confederation of Labour (CGT).
I guess a labor union, not associated with the Argentine government, making a statement about the falklands equates to rising international geopolitical tensions. Argentina lives rent free in the head of British nationalists.
