new information to who?
almost every hijacker was known to be Saudi and highly connected.
- The Bin Laden group is currently working on building the tallest building in the world in Saudi Arabia right now.

- I think the differentiator is Saudi official. Government official, not merely a citizen of Saudi Arabia.
The ones Bush flew out of the country when all other air traffic was grounded? Those Saudi officials?

  Unhelpfully, Snopes notes it is “False” because apparently the 9/11 Commission said it didn’t have any proof. The guy who approved the flight says it did and the FBI brought it to them. The FBI told the commission ¯(ツ)/¯.
Old evidence as well.
