Meanwhile, the Democrat candidate's home was also raided:

“I believe that I'm being targeted because two of the three counties fall in my House district,” Castellano said, referring to the counties Paxton had identified earlier in the week: Atascosa, Frio and Bexar. Atascosa and Frio fall within the far-flung district, which stretches from Uvalde County, splinters east toward Pearsall and Pleasanton, then dips toward Laredo.

I imagine the fact that her House district includes three counties (I'm uncertain how common this is), probably made her a high profile target for the cheaters.

A hearing is set for September 12 - very convenient timing given all the work required for the upcoming election.
