No, it didn't.
These giant productions are meant to reach the broad majority of the electorate.
It is not meant to affect government or global policy that affects the rest of the world.
Unpopular as this take may be, the "uncommitted" movement is a very small segment of the population they care about, and also that any American cares about.
Yes, it's fucked up, yes you may find that objectionable, but no, this segment does not decide the election as they've calculated.
The Uncommitted Movement is hundreds of thousands of Democratic voters. Over 200 delegates fully support the movement and those were the people pushing for a Palestinian-American voice to be heard. Giving the time for a single short speech would have given Harris massive support and momentum from hundreds of thousands of voters in each swing state. They already had a spot for a family member of an Israeli hostage to speak at the event, rightfully so because it's important to hear from the victims, both Israeli and Palestinian. That speaker was also advocating for a Palestinian voice to be heard. The DNCs refusal to allow any Palestinian voice to be heard shows they don't value Palestinians and Israelis equally.
Harris/Biden saying they support a ceasefire means nothing when we are the ones sending the bombs that are killing tens of thousands of Palestinian children and have vowed to continue to do so
Sure. Hundreds of thousands strong...in disparate voting areas.
Say what you want, but there is absolutely no way they can impact a US election in numbers alone. If you feel badly about that, you might want to also get that group together and vote for election reform where small groups like this consolidate their votes and actually impact an election. They do not right now, and the people running these campaigns just don't fucking care.
The uncommitted literally won delegates that had a right to be there. Get out of here with that it's just a small minority, didn't have room for them bullshit. They had Oprah lol she's not even a Democrat. She's registered independent.
I could win a few if I tried. You're talking about a small percentage of people in a larger pool.
