Holy shit this is super sad for him :( I‘m not a fan of russel, not at all, but that sucks big time
- I was a huge fan of his until the Bottas wreck where he lost his temper and smacked Bottas' helmet.
- It's so hard being a kid these days. Impossible body image they have to maintain.
  
  The fia should be more body positive. Russell can’t help being a Victorian child afflicted with consumption.
What does mean by being under weight here, was it a form of cheating?
- Yes, the car was 1.5kg underweight. Maybe not cheating on purpose but against the rules.
  
  That's a lot. If this math post is right that's like .1s per lap per kg on low end for Spa, or .15 x 44 = 6.6s which would put him in 4th I think.
  No wonder he had pace after 30+ laps on same tire.

- At the end of any race the cars are weighed to make sure that they weigh a minimum of 798kg this is to ensure that there is no unfair advantage for running a car much lighter. Lighter cars go faster. It seems that at some point, Mercedes made an error with the weights on Georges car and at the end it was under this limit. As other has said this could be down to any number of reasons and nothing official has been released.
  
  I wonder if the lack of an in-lap to pick up marbles in Spa, combined with his long stint leaving him with little tread, contributed here. Could he have gained 1.5kg of rubber marbles during an in-lap?
He always looks a bit peckish now that you mention it.
