  When I use it sometimes. Depends on how your ISP does IP addresses. If you have no idea what the torrents are I'm guess you don't have a static IP.
  update: it appears to work!
Not be "that guy", but new pirates beware: Jackett doesn't work for everybody
- I've been using jackett for years without a problem, what's the pitfalls?
  
  For me? I installed it and set it up according to the instructions, didn't work. Reported it, got tech support, still doesn't work. And I never got a good reason why, just that "it always works."
  Most people love it, so I'm not saying its not great. Just that all I get is errors
  
  For me, I thought I could get around torrent sites blocking by my ISP with jackett. But I was wrong. I still needed a VPN.
