Four more Democrats in Congress call for Biden to step aside in the 2024 race

Each lawmaker was given a chance to speak in order of seniority. Even those who did not explicitly call on Biden to bow out expressed concerns that he is not the strongest candidate to beat former President Donald Trump in November, additional sources said.
It's not just the dozen or so calling for him to step down, there's more that already think he's not the best shot, just aren't risking their careers yet.
I don't think people realize how big this is because trump has caused republicans to do it. Except for Trump and Nixon, this is pretty unprecedented. They're not saying this on a whim.
- Biden is down 8-10 points to the most unpopular president in US history. He simply can't win at this point and he doesn't have the balls to outright jail Trump.
- The damage is done. I don't believe there's any recovering from this. The narrative is already out there that Biden needs replaced.
  
  Yeah, there is no putting the cat back in the bag on this one. Unfortunately, there is also no guarantee that replacing Biden will increase the electoral chances with Harris at the top of the ticket.

Whether it's a good idea, or a bad idea, I have no idea.
But I suspect that it's too late now. That decision should have been made 5-6 years ago.

By definition doesn't that make them Republican? They are trying to suggest something that they know is more important than the voters democratic choice
