No, it's not that, even if I subscribe and tap on the community on the left it displays wrong. I think it may be showing "all", which means it's the same or similar bug as the post before mine.
Try hitting the communities tab at the top. Search shows posts first by default.

Oh I see now. That's weird. Can't reproduce it on my end so maybe a federation fuck up?
