More things with Lemmy compatibility can only be a good thing.
Still pisses me off lemmy refuses to adopt pixfed content licencing compatability.
- Are they actively refusing it, or is it more a lack of resources?
  
  I'd guess the latter, unless the licensing is in conflict with their values.
  
  They can always claim the second even when it's the first.
