The One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S23 adds Opus and LC3 encoders
Mishaal Rahman: LC3 is the standard codec for BLE Audio, while Opus is recommended for head tracked spatial audio due to its low latency. Surprised there's no aptX HD here, though, since Qualcomm submitted the encoder to AOSP
Wish they'd back port it to the S22 but it's nice to finally see more phones support them. Now we just need more earbuds to support them...
