That's moot. His supporters aren't going to switch their vote to Biden over this.
What this may do, however, is prevent some moderate Republicans from switching their vote to Biden.

A significant portion of Trump's base are going to have problems voting for a non-white woman.
Particularly when I keep reminding them that she'll become president when the old fart kicks, which going by his rapid decline, he almost certainly will.
Trump is the pinnacle of health, he'll still be alive and well in forty years.

As far as Trump’s base is concerned, that’s the worst thing you could be.
If they actually stood by anything they said it would be. They'll all march in lockstep as soon as someone tells them to.
