Brazilian authorities launch probe into ‘Amazon’s largest single deforester’

Here's to hoping that gets somewhere. More often than not, bribes and friendly judges make every crime magically disappear. If those don't work, it's very easy within Brazilian law to keep pushing processes into the future, until 20 years pass, making any accusations null and void.

Wild that you can just steal public land and declare that it’s yours.
