Worth nothing that, in universe, he was still a good-looking famous movie star before becoming a ghoul
That only further proves the point of the post.
He lost everything: fame, success, and his good looks. He became a homeless radioactive cowboy with bad skin and no nose.
He has personality though. He's fun and interesting. He's confident and capable. That's exactly why some people find him attractive.
Multiple times in the thread I've read "it's the personality". The guy is a self-absorbed sociopathic drug addict. Idk where the rizz is.
They always want the bad boy smh... Let's see how much you like him once he murders you and devours your corpse!
Sorry, I can't hear you over the sounds of them writing 1000s of fanfics with this very premise.
Fallout vore is so 2009
ASS JERKY.
There's a reason women love true crime.
Walton Goggins could play an inanimate piece of cheese and he'd still be hot
He really does bring it in every role I've seen him in.
His best so far will always be on Sons of Anarchy. His performance on that show was absolutely glorious.
Watch The Shield (not to be confused with the shitty Marvel series from the 2010s), where he co-stars with Michael Chiiklis as a corrupt LA cop. It's a great series inspired by the IRL Rampart PD Scandal
Look I know he's had plenty of amazing roles, but I still have this weird feeling of seeing an actor I've loved for a long time being seen and loved by so many people for the first time. Like saying "I'm glad he's finally getting his due" feels dismissive of his amazing work before now but that's still how I feel.
True, I had a similar reaction watching this video on Inside Games where one of the guys says that Walton Goggins is finally having a breakthrough (no timestamp because I'm lazy). Like dude... the man's been a household name for the better part of two decades now, even if he had a bit of a cool down for a few years recently. I mention The Shield in another comment, but he co-starred in what was at the time the most watched cable drama series (back when those words meant something) of all time. Walton Goggins is great and has been for years
He's from my hometown, he's always been amazing in anything he plays especially bad guys you like. I'm always glad he gets good work and it's long deserved he's got a leading role. I love his voice too, everyone where I grew up sounds just like him haha.
Now I want to see him play an animated piece of cheese ... for science, of course.
Monterrey Jack, of course.
For those of us not in the know, should I assume this is a character from the show Fallout?
Yep
I'm not sure how to feel about the Ghoul. Wanna root for him because we know what he lost, but then he kills the dog... Oh wait, dog isnt dead, and he heals it. So he is a good guy? He just murdered a bunch of people for absolutely no reason though... What the fuck is his deal? I mean, besides being a ghoul and his daughter probably being dead and his wife possibly being the very reason for the end of the world?
I'll take the ghoul over maximus....dude is just brain dead. Like eats crayons brain dead...the show is good, on episode 5 right now, but holy shit do i just cringe every time he is on screen.
You're not wrong, but like... The dude was already a random wasteland kid when he was picked up by the Brotherhood. Can't really blame him for being a dumbass when he had pretty much no education other than "technology bad. Mutants bad."
Have you ever played a fallout game with low intelligence? Lol
He's definitely the protagonist. Lucy is the Player Character.
I actually don't recall him killing anyone without reason?
Are you referring to all the people who drew on him in Filly after they were promised caps to kill him?
I think they're confusing without reason with without compunction.
The dudes that opened his coffin literally giving him a job? And plenty of people in Filly he shot didn't even have weapons! He was gonna shoot Lucy until Aspirin (they said Aspirin and not Aspirant right? I'm gonna keep calling him Aspirin because it's funnier) jumped in.
"I can fix him" springs to mind. 😅
Everyone loves a project
Plastic surgeon flooding their basement, just thinking about the rhinoplasty they could perform. "He'll be even sexier with that scar from the forearm flap!"
It's always sociopaths...
Wait until they find out about Fisto in season 2.
My Anusara is prepared
I'm completely in love with Lucy. I want to be her, but I also want to have sex with her, and it is frankly a bit confusing.
It's the "you wanna have sex?" scene that did it for me. She's quite hot.
She was also in yellowjackets.
And the metal boot girl from Miss Peregine's.
homeless? it's a post-apocalyptic wasteland...
that's like calling me yachtless...
or mansionless...
not owning something is not a definition or description of a person
idk that sounds like a pretty mansionless thing to say /s
He does have a home. For most of his life, he's been chilling in a hole in the ground.
Not owning something? sure, that's not necessarily the best way to define someone. especially in a post apocalyptic wasteland.
But there are certain benchmark things that are consequential enough to define someone. Not having reliable access to shelter is pretty descriptive of a person's situation.
I don't think you could argue that the only difference between someone who owns their own functional and crewed yacht - and a person who is homeless, is personal preference/taste. Regardless of an apocalypse.
But, I wouldn't expect the mansionless to understand the nuances of owning things so don't worry about it too much /s
Honestly, I'm loving the slur mansionless. Thank you for this
I’m pretty sure one of the definitions of homeless is to not owning a home. The tactless and mansionless kind of has a word too: pennyless 😅
well, capless in this case, but no, he's quite wealthy by wasteland standards.
Smoothskin chads know little of photonic resonation chambers
It's Uncle Baby Billy!
Self confidence is the key
Also being fictional and having the world written for you.
To ask somone with a full body burn and missing nose to "just be confident" is a bit much...
...but I already made all these tacos...
So a sauve voice and a commitment to a cause?
Uncghoul baby billy
He's extremely charming and extremely skilled with firearms lol he's also a former famous actor and loving husband and father.
Didn't he eat a corpse in the show? I heard someone say that.
Just a bite or two.
And he made the heroine cut up the corpse's ass for jerky.
Krisma, bags of it.
I just interpret that as, "Anyone but me." Still not wrong so far.
yes we are
Still not gonna be homeless
Also, underneath that zombie looking flesh is just the craziest looking human being I’ve ever seen.
It's the lake scene. 100%.
Dragging the tied up Lucy around with the lasso and the shibari tie up when dipped in the lake? The dispassion while doing so?
Yeah, Ella Purnell wasn't the only one soaked
I've got some stout rope, a car, and a lake 20 minutes away. Ladies?
you gotta get the nice rope though bro.
I need to have my tools!
Does the gulper really get your motor running with its mouth fingers and prolapsed stomach?
