Police confirm ram was in paddock where two found dead in rural Waitākere
A man and woman were found dead at the Anzac Valley Road address in Waitākere before 7.30am.
Earlier, a family spokesperson for the pair, Dean Burrell, said the deaths involved an animal kept on their property. The pair are believed to have been killed by the ram.
I think a lot of people underestimate just how dangerous farm animals can be, many of them are more than capable of throwing a person across a paddock.
What a tragedy. Those poor people, their poor families must be so shocked and upset to lose both parents in one go.
