Everyone knew this was coming. A person who designs cylinders for steering systems probably has pretty limited options at Apple once the car is toast.

Side story: I went on a date with someone who left Tesla to work at Apple and then went back. We knew people in common because one of the people in my former group had transferred over to the car project. Anyway… that's how I got confirmation of the car project around 2019.
