It's become a common pattern of democrats making "proposals" and then nothing comes of them, especially when they actually get a majority in congress since it suddenly becomes a low priority like when Obama said an abortion rights law was not a top priority after claiming it'd be the first thing he'd do while on the campaign trail even though he got in with a super majority.

No he didn't listen to us. He lied to us during his campaign that he would fight for $50k forgiveness. Then when he got into office he negotiated his own campaign promise down to $10k.
