Interesting thought, but the rings may be older than that, and they may be reoccurring. That's just an estimate based on a range calculated in a recent study.https://www.universetoday.com/161444/saturns-rings-are-much-younger-than-the-planet/There's a lot more learning to do.
What blows my mind even more is that, when dinosaurs existed*, the solar system was on the other side of our galaxy.(*) Dinos were around for a really long time, so it was largely during the Cretaceous when the solar system was on the opposite side.
Now THAT is a shower thought.
